Shannon and Randall were married on February 4, 2012 in Buda, Texas. It was a beautiful ceremony at Santa Cruz Catholic Church followed by a beautiful outdoor reception at The Hummingbird house. Shannon was a beautiful bride and Randall was ecstatic to make her his wife!
Genesis 2:22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman, ‘ for she was taken out of man.” 24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

{And they lived happily ever after}
When we got to Agave Road Andrea&Louis were busy getting ready and waiting. Waiting two hours, or 120 minutes, or 7,200 seconds, or however you want to look at it, until they would get to commit their lives to eachother and say their “I-do’s”. But they could wait, they had waited what I am sure seemed like an eternity for each other. Andrea&Lous had, in fact, waited decades for each other.
Because their story is so special and because their words are OH-SO-MUCH more eloquent then mine are I am going to post a quote from their wedding website.
“Due to reasons beyond our control,
We lost eachother.
Tears were shed.
We lived our lives, apart, always knowing how right that summer was.
How real it was,
How irreplaceable it was.
The years rolled on. Many of them.
Children were born.
Families were started.
Apart.
Our souls had been searching for eachother over the years.
They never crossed paths.
Then Hope.
One day,
Thanks to the wonder that is social networking,
We found eachother.
Then we again, Smiled.
And the rest is history.”

April 8, 2012 was a GORGEOUS April Day with filled with clouds and the most beautiful blue skies. Autumn&Chris live in San Diego but came all the way down with their two dogs to get married in front of their family in Dripping Springs right out of Austin, Texas. It was a wonderfully sweet and love filled wedding on Easter and was just as colorful as the eggs the kids of the wedding party hunted before dinner!

March 25, 2012 may have been just another ordinary day for you. But today was no ordinary day for Schellcy&Anthony, today was quite possibly one of the most important and exciting days of both of their lives. It started like any other beautiful March Texas day, not a cloud in the sky and the they were painted the brightest blue possible. I am pretty sure the color of the sky was probably the last thing on this happy couple’s mind.
When I walked into the bridal suite at Northgate Country Club I was greeted by the sweetest, glowing, happiest bride I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. As Schellcy was finishing the final touches, Anthony was joking around outside with his, happy as could be. If either one of them was nervous, anxious or stressed, I couldn’t tell it! This couple couldn’t keep the smiles off, you could see the blissful anticipation plastered across their faces from ear to ear. Everything about this wedding was perfect. Every detail, from the Bride’s hair to the groom’s “03-25-12″ embroidered shoes. From the weather to the custom painted heels Schellcy wore on her perfectly painted toes! This couple was the sweetest, most fun loving couple, with an equally fun loving family and wedding party. We had a blast photographing them.

“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return”
Cierria&Kendell are an amazing power couple who tied the knot at the Gallery in Houston on March 9, 2012. They committed to each other, their family and God that they would love each other for the rest of their lives. Cierria and Kendell were all smiles that Friday afternoon and clearly knew the real reason they were there. When obstacle’s presented themselves, and presented themselves they did, {President Obama decided to shut down the freeways and held the wedding back by three hours and the rain decided to bless us with it’s presence and move this outdoor wedding indoor} this beautiful bride and handsome groom didn’t let anything ruin their special day. It feels like yesterday when I met them first July 3rd of 2011 when we had the pleasure to photograph their Engagement session.

I have had the most amazing pleasure watching this family grow! http://edoophotography.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php?post=1317&action=edit&message=1They are the sweetest couple around with the sweetest family. I have had the most amazing privilege photographing this couple throughout the past year and a half of their lives. Here are some of my very favorites from the their life through my eyes. Enjoy!
The Engagement Session+Brooke! ” This is true love – you think this happens every day? ” – Wesley {the princess bride}
Bridal Portraits +Brooke! Chritie was a blissfully vibrant bride who was radiating with the all the joy that comes from the anticipation of marrying ones “man of her dreams”!
Songs of Solomon 4:7 “You are altogether beautiful, there is no flaw in you.”
It was a beautiful February day. Christie was excited and Curtis was smiles from ear to ear. This would be the day that Curtis would become a husband to Christie and a Father to Brooke. February 26, 2011 Christie and Curtis before God and all of their loving friends and family committed to spend the rest of their lives loving and growing with each other.
“Tiller man taught me anything
It’s that a hard-headed woman is what I need
To help me to always do my best
Baby, my life is blessed
You’re the girl of my dreams
Darling, please wear this ring
You’re an angel through and through
Time to lay down my life
Honey, I’d do it gladly for you “- Dustin Kensrue
Christie let me know she would be needing some Maternity photos in about 6 months, while we were photographing her friend Christi’s Bridal portraits. She wasn’t showing at the time but you could see the anticipation and excitement in her eyes. We had to wait for Brodie to grow, and grow he did. Impossible to think that Christie could be more beautiful than she was as a blushing bride but as I photographed them at NASA she proved that her beauty grew even more.
Psalms 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”
And then came Brodie.
On December 28, 2011 Christie, Curtis and Brooke got a little delayed Christmas gift!
“Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.” – Skin horse from the Velveteen Rabbit.
As you watch the progression of Christie&Curtis’ family grow you can also watch the magnificent growth of Curtis’ Beard&Mustache!
Just love this family!
It started out just like any other Houston “winter” day. Warm and humid! It was a foggy and drizzly Thursday afternoon and I was worried about it raining in Kemah but Emily braved the fog and humidity armed with her flat iron and bobby pins in hand. It was a smart decision because, as you can see the weather fit right into their nautical themed engagement session. I will have the privilege to photograph Emily and Chase’ wedding in Galveston, Texas where they will be tying the knot on August 17, 2012. They will be celebrating with their family and friends on a cruise the day after.
You spend two minutes with these two and you just know God has made them for each other! They are the sweetest and not to mention gorgeous couple and I couldn’t help but share more than just a few of my very favorites from the day. Please enjoy!
