January 28, 2012 started off like any other beautiful Saturday Texas morning.   Birds were singing, clouds were MIA, the sun providing the warmth needed for this chilly January morning.   Though it seemed like an ordinary day,  this day was far from it for Vanessa&Patrick, this day was the day they were getting married.   As I arrived to Vanessa’s Suite at the Ballpark Inn, I was greeted by a glowing , happy, and VERY calm  bride.  As I walked in into the suite I caught a quick glance into the powder room and quickly realized there were eleven ( not 9 not 10, but 11)  bride’s maids getting ready in their pink robes.  SO cute!

As Vanessa waited to put her dress on she sat around happy as could be, joking around with her mother and mother-in-law about Patrick.  The mood was much the same on the other side of downtown at the Double Tree Hotel, where Patrick was laughing and joking around with 12, count them TWELVE, equally funny and hilarious groomsman.

The 28 member wedding party joined together at the beautiful Annunciation Catholic church in Downtown Houston, along with their family and friends to watch Vanessa&Patrick tie the knot! They celebrated with their family that evening at The Majestic Metro!  As you can tell from these photos, this couple was SO in love and and their family and friends were SO happy for them. This was a great group of people and we were so privileged to photograph their special day.

So, with no further introduction necessary, this is Vanessa& Patrick’s Sneak Peaks!

It was a perfect day for a bridal portrait session. The kind of day that invites you bask in the sunlight, without a cloud in the sky! It was a flawless and beautiful day for an equally flawless and beautiful bride!

I love everything about bridal shoots. From the flower, braids, buns, curls,or bird-cages veils delicately placed in their flawless hair to the stilettos, wedges, platforms, flats and sandals on their toes. Whether it’s Taffeta, Metallic Embroidery, Rhinestones, Crystal Beading, Sequins or Lace, every single dress is as different, beautiful and unique as the bride who wheres it. No two brides are the same, yet every one of them radiating with the same anticipation, joy and bliss that being a bride brings.

Here are a couple of my favorite photos from my Wednesday session with Vanessa Valenzuela!

Wednesday was a perfect day, cool weather, blue skies, sun shining and not a cloud in the sky.  I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to photograph Vanessa’s Bridal Portraits at Discovery Green.   Vanessa is my next beautiful blushing bride who is marrying the love of her life Patrick in one week on Jan. 28th!

I photographed their Engagement photos a couple weeks before Christmas and our journey took us from Downtown Houston to Needville, Texas where this couple own their own commercial tannery.  We got to include their three dogs, and two goats (Bob & Marley). Vanessa even made three shirts for each one of their dogs  that read SAVE-THE-DATE.   SUPER cute idea! Atleast we thought so, but the dogs had other their own agenda (Which mostly included slobbering,  rolling on the ground and pretty much anything but what they told them to do).   SOOOOOOOOOO…. when all else fails, use the goats!  Such a unique fun couple with such awesome ideas not mention a blast to be around.  We had a great afternoon and here are a couple of my favorite photos we have to show from it.

This is what I like to call our failed “Save The Date” attempt.

Here are the Sneak Peaks for Vanessa’s Bridal portraits. Can’t wait to show you (and the bride) the rest tomorrow.  She definitely blew me away with her stoic beauty and could fall into a pose quicker than I could prepare my camera!
